

PA MEDI-Medicare Insurance Counseling
PA MEDI volunteers:
Receive special training on all areas of Medicare
Explain Medicare options and Medicare rules and notices in an easy-to-understand way
Look for savings by comparing local health care plan and prescription drug plan options to meet individual needs
Help determine eligibility for Medicare financial assistance programs that could save additional money
Ombudsman Program
Work to resolve complaints and issues on behalf of individuals residing in long term care settings, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and personal care homes.
Pennsylvania Empowered Expert Residents (PEER) - Individuals living in long-term care settings who have been trained to advocate to improve the quality of life in their home
Home Delivered Meals
Meal preparation or service
Meal delivery or transportation
